Opening statement

I have for a long time listened to people talking about this Blog and that Blog so thought if anyone can do it why not have a go. I am no great writer but will put down what I think on any subject that comes to mind. I am not sure if this will be of any intrest to anyone else on the planet, but if it is great and if not then do not come back the choice is yours. I would appriciate any helpful comments or guidance from people that have more knowledge on anything I put down here.
